Terms and Conditions- Lougheed Driving School

Welcome to Lougheed Driving School. By registering for our lessons and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure safety, professionalism, and a smooth experience for both students and instructors.
1. Student Eligibility
To participate in any of our driving programs, students must:
- Hold a valid BC Learner’s Licence (Class 7L or higher).
- Be physically and mentally fit to drive.
- Comply with the rules and regulations set by ICBC and the Motor Vehicle Act of British Columbia.
2. Lesson Scheduling
- Lessons must be booked in advance through our booking system, website, phone, or in-person.
- Confirmed lesson times are subject to change in the case of emergencies, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson.
- Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the full fee being charged.
- In the event of a genuine emergency, consideration will be given on a case-by-case basis.
4. Refund Policy
- Prepaid packages are refundable within 14 days of purchase, provided that no lessons have been taken.
- If lessons have started, unused lessons may be refunded on a pro-rated basis, minus an administrative fee.
- No refunds will be issued after 60 days from the date of purchase.
5. Student Conduct
- Students must arrive on time, with their valid learner’s licence, and be ready to participate.
- Aggressive, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and may result in lesson cancellation without refund.
- Students under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to drive, and the session will be forfeited.
6. Instructor and Vehicle Assignments
- While we try to provide consistency with instructors and vehicles, substitutions may occur due to availability or scheduling needs.
- All school vehicles are insured, safety-checked, and equipped with dual controls for safety.
7. Use of Vehicle for ICBC Road Test
Students wishing to use a Lougheed Driving School vehicle for their road test must:
- Complete a minimum number of lessons (as advised by the instructor).
- Schedule the road test in coordination with the school and instructor availability.
- A separate rental fee applies for road test vehicle use.
8. Liability
- Lougheed Driving School and its instructors are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or claim resulting from a lesson unless caused by gross negligence.
- Students accept all risk associated with operating a motor vehicle during training.
9. Privacy
- We are committed to protecting your personal information.
- Any personal data collected is used solely for scheduling, training records, and communication, and will not be shared without your consent unless required by law.
10. Changes to Terms
- These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time.
- It is your responsibility to review any updates, which will be made available via our website or upon request.
